Help turn Hawthorn Independent

Last time, Hawthorn was won by 1,544 votes. To turn Hawthorn Independent, we need to make sure that anyone making up their mind on the day knows that they can vote for an independent and that Shima can win.

Can you help us during early voting and on election day?

You’ll be handing out how-to-vote cards, chatting with voters, and being a friendly local face for an independent who actually listens to the community. No experience needed. We’ll train you, and tell you exactly where to be.

Pre-poll

Early voting runs for the ten days before election day (November 18-27), and its estimated that more than half of the electorate will vote early. 

Shifts will be 3 hours, between 9am-6pm.

Election Day – Saturday 28 November

This is the big one. There will be up to 26 booths in and around Hawthorn, and we will need Team Shima at every single one.
